Capturing flowers at their very best: that is what photographer Paul Heijmink loves to do most. With his unique photographic style, he captures even the smallest details with razor-sharp clarity. The result? Stunning close-ups that do full justice to the beauty and intricate details of flowers.
His passion for photography began at an early age. At the age of sixteen, he bought his first camera with his first pay cheque. He has been taking photographs ever since. As well as photography, Paul works at the Plantion Flower Auction in Ede. He regularly brings unusual varieties home, where they are given a spot in a vase or in the garden. Paul then gets his camera out to capture them in his own distinctive style. He also takes all the product photographs for the websites of floriculture companies such as Marginpar and RosaPlaza.
